Description

The Lantech I(P)GS-0208GSFP is a high performance all Gigabit switch with 8 10/100/1000T + 2 1000M SFP (w/8 PoE 802.3af/at ports). Equipped with DC 12~48V redundant input power, the Lantech IPGS-0208GSFP-12V is able to boost input voltage from 12V to 48V then feed each PoE port up to 15.4Watts/30Watts with total PoE power budget 80W at 12V, 120W at 24V input or 240W at 48V input. TThe E-marking certificate makes it the most suitable PoE switch for bus, carriage, other vehicles application as well as for industrial areas where the power source is limited with 12V but has demand of IP surveillance or VoIP applications. The -E model can be used in extreme environments with an extended operating temperature range.


Hardened Industrial Design with Dual Power Inputs and Enhanced Protection

The unit provides EFT and ESD protection, which can reduce unstable situation caused by power line and Ethernet. It has high reliability and robustness coping with extensive EMI/RFI phenomenon, environmental vibration and shocks usually found in Automation, transportation, Wireless backhaul, Semi-conductor factory and assembly lines. The unit is also designed with dual redundant power inputs supporting 9~36VDC (24V PoE), 45~56VDC (48V PoE), 9.5~56VDC (12V PoE), 9.5~60VDC (12V non-PoE) or 9~36VDC (24V non-PoE). Other features include:

  • ±2000V EFT and ±6000V ESD protection
  • E-marking certificate for vehicle application (24VDC model)
  • Widened temperature range of -40°C~75°C / -40°F~167°F (-E model)
  • EN62368 safety compliance
  • Compliance with stability testing for IEC60068-2-31 (Free fall), IEC60068-2-27 (Shock) and IEC60068-2-6 (Vibration)

PoE Functionality

This switch supports a PoE budget of up to 240W at 48V input, 120W at 24V input and 80W at 12V input and includes the following PoE aspects:

  • 10/100/1000T: 8 ports RJ-45 with Auto MDI/MDI-X function
  • SFP port: 2 x 1000M
  • Power & P-Fail connector: 1 x 6-pole terminal block
  • Up to 30W per port
  • Compliant with 802.3 af/at standard
  • 10KB jumbo frame supported on all ports
