Using the most recent 3D NAND technology with vertical, layered expansion of storage cells, Transcend's SATA III 6Gb/s SSD230S can transfer data at speeds of up to 230 MB/s. The SSD230S offers improved firmware algorithms, higher-quality flash memory, and increased performance.

3D expansion to break through limits

3D NAND flash, in contrast to planar NAND memory, has memory cells stacked vertically in numerous layers. 3D NAND provides a better level of performance and endurance by overcoming the density restrictions of 2D planar NAND.

Performance boost for everyday computing

Transcend's SSD230S delivers excellent transfer speeds of up to 560MB/s read and 520MB/s write by fully using the SATA III 6Gb/s interface and integrated SLC caching technology.

Guaranteed endurance and reliability

The SSD230S from Transcend has excellent Terabytes Written (TBW) figures (up to 2,240 TB), which measure the maximum amount of data that can be written into the drive over its lifetime.
